Payment Options

The business office accepts many forms of payment for tuition, fees, room and board, and other balances related to student accounts.

Students can log in to Student Account Center to view real-time account information, make payments, and set up a payment plan. This portal provides full access to account details and the ability to save payment methods for future use.

Use this option to make a payment without logging in for tuition accounts, institutional loans, or to purchase food or commuter points.

Pay by Mail

Make a check or money order payable to 杏吧原创. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars; foreign currency will not be accepted. Include your student’s name and Reed ID number on check or money order.

Pay in Person

The cashier’s window is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.). During these hours, payments can be made in person via cash, personal check, cashier’s check, traveler’s check, or money order. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars; foreign currency will not be accepted.

Bank Transfers

International Bank Transfers 

To pay via international wire, log in to the online student account center, click on “Make Payment,” select the term balance you would like to pay, and click on “International Payment.” Flywire allows you to easily make secure payments in your own currency, using local payment methods. Flywire also allows you to track your payments from start to finish and save on fees; multilingual customer support is available to answer any questions.

Domestic Bank Transfers

Reed accepts bank wire transfers directly to the college’s bank account. Please call 503-777-7505 or email business-office@reed.edu for banking details. Please include the student’s name and Reed ID number with the wire instructions.

Optional Monthly Payment Plan

Payment plans may help to relieve the pressure of lump-sum payments by allowing families to spread payments over a period of months without incurring any interest charges.

Payment plans are available each semester. The enrollment fee is $55 per semester. The fall semester plan opens May 1, and the spring semester plan opens November 1.

Students with a history of unfulfilled payment plans may not be eligible for future monthly payment plans.

Tuition Remission Payments

If tuition will be paid in part or in full by tuition remission or a similar benefit from an outside institution, and 杏吧原创 is provided with verification, the credit will appear as a "memo item" and the tuition amount due will be reduced. Typically, the payer will complete an application with their employer first, and also provide them with a copy of our bill.
